Retired at last. Finally, all the time in the world to read. I'm a mother and grandmother, music lover, movie critic, and have tons of redecorating plans. My only rule is, "If it's rainning, I'm reading.

Yes, have it on my Kindle. But right now, my eyes are crossing from trying to decipher olde English from 1604. Part of my research, primary source, for my History Research & Writing class.

you asked me a question about The Hunger Games Trilogy. I haven't read it. Although it is labled as ya I have heard that it shouldn't have been labled that at all. I'm asking for this for christmas so I will let you know when I have read it what I think. If you get to it first let me know your thoughts.

    Hi Carol,

The Chase is Nov f2f book selection.
Turn of the century detective Isaac Bell ...romance, historical fact and a good story

His villains are out of the ordinary.
I'm doing the audio and it's great.....love to hear what the women are like
and the description of the great SF earthquake...etc and life in general.
It was such a good listen that I went on to Bell #2 The Wrecker.
    Lots of trains also....
Reminds me of my dad....born a little later but a lover of trains.

I like things from the early 20th century....that's why these appealed to me.

You summed it up quite well I think. I hated all of them yet I had to keep reading. I gave it 4 stars also.
It is the most depressing, disturbing book I have read in some time.

You will want to talk about A Reliable Wife after you have read it. There are so many things about that book that makes you just need to discuss it with someone. Let me know when you read it.
