  • Wrapped in Pleasure: Delaney's Desert Sheikh\Seduced by a Stranger
    • Rated 5 stars

It was great to read Delaney's Desert Sheik after all these years. I'm still trying the secret behind the kisses he shares with Delaney.

I also enjoyed the story of Princess Johari and Sheikh Valdermon. It was great seeing a young woman of that culture assert herself to have some enjoyment in her life eventhugh we know that this would not be tolerated in her country.

    A Deep Dark Secret

The sad story of a 12 yo Jillian that was being molested by her stepfather from the age of 7. Afraid to confide in anyone because of the threats that no one would believe her she kept this secret to herself. After her best friend Nikki attempts suicide after a failed boyfriend-girlfriend hookup she tells Jill that she had been molested by her own father until her Mom divorved him at the age of 10. Jill vows that will never happen to her. A well put together story of a young girl that has to put on the face that life is good in order for her family to stay happy and together at her expense.

  • Better Than
    • Rated 5 stars

This is one of my all time favorite contemporary romances. Boy meets girl, they click, she's his muse. They have both been hurt but they are cut from the same cloth when it comes to being raised by strong grandmothers. I have read all of L.A (Leslie) books and I love all of her writings but this makes you wish we could all have a Love "Better Than".

Very good book about acceptance. Yolanda had been skinny all her life. Starting with her father she had been teased about her size by everyone family, friends and strangers. This is a book about her finally accepting who and what she was and standing up for herself.
