“I didn't think that I would like this book because I wondered could a White Women "reallY" write a story about the lives of Black maids in 1960's Mississippi. I must say the author told a very good story. It made you a part of the story and the lives of all of the characters. I really wonder what WOMEN WHO ACTUALLY WORKED these jobs would have to say about the story.”

“Great story about darrin and deborah. Deb had been hurt by Mario whom she had a relationship since college. His ways had taken a toll on her. IDarrin a tall handsome soft spoken brother see's Deb and wants to dat eher. Because of her hurt from Mario she's afraid to love again. ”

“sad commentary to the life of a pretty boy looking for love from a heartless father. In doing so he sought what he thought was love from various men starting at the age of 15. Finding what he thought was love from men who only used him physically and mentally.”

“Interesting read by this writer. Markus Tyrone Greene, educated successful brother lookin for the right person. Little does anyone know that Markus Tyrone is confused about "what" he really wants in a relationship. Uniyah wants tio be a star and will do almost anything or anybody to get to that place. Brandon Uniyah's friend and producer is looking forl"LOve" from a brother that can be into him. DRama waiting to happen in this book. As I stated before quite a interesting read.”
