Booklady, all I can say is this book ran the complete gamut of emotions for me from feeling the hurt, frustration, indifference, trust issues, and indescribable passion of past and present relationships to the spiritual side of uncontrollable tears from reading the church scene. I was really trying to savor the book, but I couldn't put it down. I read it in 1 day. OMG. I couldn't wait to pass this book on to a dear friend, but trust and believe she better give it back!! (LOL) This book was truly 5 stars. Thank you.

    Hi Booklady28,
I hope you won't mind my sharing the fact that today is the official release date of my 2nd novel, A NATURAL WOMAN (Kensington/Dafina).

The novel revolves around Dr. Aliesha Eaton, a young anthropology professor who seemingly has it all--a nice teaching gig, a respected role in her church and an adoring boyfriend. However, while searching for the right someone to cut and style her natural hair, she finds herself drawn to a dark, handsome, mysterious barber named Dante. Unfortunately, Dante's disappearance within hours of their first night together leaves Aliesha wondering if he'd been out to play her from the start, or if he's become a victim of foul play at the hands of either her spurned boyfriend, or . . . yet another man from her recent past.

If you are interested, you can read the first two chapters of A NATURAL WOMAN on my website: www.lorijohnsonbooks.com

    Best Regards,
    Lori

    Hi Booklady 28,
I was surprised at how many people had six o'clock moments! Sounds crazy, but now that I'm older I wish I had appreciated my body more. Now I'm trying to lose weight! Silly huh?

I had to laugh...I too grew up on Grimm's Fairy Tales & Dr. Seuss and each interview I give them honorable mention, along with Agatha Christie.
