I love books! I love to read! Well, duh! I buy way more than I can possible read--unless my plan to live forever comes about! My husband and I recently completed a 7 month cross-country trip in an RV that was just marvelous. I visited many, many wonderful book stores where I bought many, many books.     Becca, Just a quick note to let you know how much your phone call meant to me. You said all of the right things & really cheered me up. I find myself alternating from sobbing to shrugging it off. I always have thought I have a touch of bi-polarism! (Bad joke, I know, but I think, hope, I can be forgiven...)

    Anywho, hope your trip is progressing smoothly & Clark doesn't get you & the BFT in any more tight spots. Remind him of how aggressive we Bi*tches can be & how we protect our own!

    And..I know you'll understand this...But you & the nurses (at the hospital) have been more supportive & understanding than my own sisters. Gary says to stop looking to them for love & support & I know he's right. *sigh*

    Hey Becca, How are you? How's the email? I thought about writing you there, but wasn't sre if you got it worked out yet. How was your Thanksgiving? Ours was OK. Less people this year & I held it later in the day so it gave me time to watch the parade & even some of the Purina dog show. How's Sweet Pea? I hope she's feeling OK. The way you described her waiting for her shot is so sweet!! LOL about Cuppy bringing in the lizards! Did I ever tell you how Luke chases them & bites off their tails?

    Great news about the biopsy, woo hoo!! Glad Brendan has gone back to school!!

    Life here has been difficult. Gary has been laid off. He feels confident he'll get a new job, but at his age & in this economy, I just don't know...There's more, but I don't want to print it here for all the world.

    BECCA!!! How are you? Have you gotten the biopsy results back yet?

    We got Gary's on Fri. He's fine!!!! I'm so relieved, & despite Mr. Macho's assurances that he knew he was alright all along, I can see the relief on his face & hear it in his voice. ;)

    We leave for vacation today...I'm so looking forward to it. I'm leaving my cell phone home, LOL so my sisters cannot contact me. I need a drama-free, sister-conflict-free, lots of reading, vacation. I'll write more when I return.

    Oh Becca, it was a disaster! But the bride & groom were happy w/ everything & blissfully unaware of what went wrong, so that's good. And many people complimented me on the gardens, so that made all of that work OK. Some of the details are too personal to go into here. I'll try to zap you an email if you want to listen.
