An avid reader, I usually pick up books based on gut feeling and if i have enjoyed a particular writer. Hence you will usually find a lot of Terry Pratchet, P. G. Wodehouse and a lot of writing from authors of Indian origin.

    Hi there,

I read mostly fiction but I am a big fan of Non fiction.
I love to read any book which is gripping and riveting to read.
I just finished reading "Crime and punishment" last week.
Its a slow read but I loved the book.
you can go through my shelf (which is not as great as your shelf) just to get an idea about my tastes of books. Please do recommend some books you came across lately.
Thank you for approving my friend request and replying to my previous note.
    Regards,
    Kushal

Lord take this cup away from me....
"I can't son, it belongs to you"
But Lord this cup is too much for me to bear!
"You can handle it, Jesus drank from the cup"
    But Lord I aint Jesus!
    "But He lives in YOU!"
    But Lord I am weak!
"His strength works best when you’re weak"
But Lord have you seen what's in my cup?
"Yeah I know I put it in there!"
But Lord there is sickness in my cup!
"And I called you to heal"
But Lord there is confusion in my cup!
"And I called you to teach"
But Lord there is pain in my cup!
"And I called you spread my Word"
But Lord why do I have to drink THIS cup?
”Because I want you to act like my Son!”
Last question Lord....Does everyone have to drink this cup?
"Everyone has to taste their reality"

Oh great! I recently bought "What ho!", which as the publisher (Penguin) calls it, is a superlative collection of Plum's writings. Its really a good collection of some of the wittiest pages from his books!

Your shelf has Adams, Jerome and Narayan, but I am surprised there not to find any Plum (P G Wodehouse) novel! If anyone is capable of laughing like hell on reading Adams and Jerome (and to some extent Narayan) but havent read Wodehouse then its really a great miss! Try hime if you havent yet, I promise you will find it difficult to stop laughing even after closing the book..especially the ones which feature Jeeves!!
