I just went through all your books and added some to my wish list. Great shelf.
    Yesterday I started John
Grisham Playing for Pizza. It was different from what he usual writes but I really enjoyed it. How about you? Anything wonderful?

Was checking your shelf and found a great assortment that I would be interested in reading. I also enjoyed Into the Forest. Isn't it great to have this site and find books you have never heard of and want to add to your collection?

Well with all the activity I've had on Shelfari with my old account, that's a real "schocker" that it should go unnoticed. ;) Well anyway, I do want to look into this more now, it seems very nice! Finding friends who like the same books as you do, always a nice surprise!

    Hola Jody,

    How goes it?

Currently reading "The Time Traveler's Wife." Quite different. Very enjoyable. And yourself?

Haven't heard of Schools Without Borders, but I would enjoy hearing more.

Any recent "must-reads" you recently perused?

    Ciao, Michael

Greetings bookgrrl. I loved the Best Hard Time, even though I don't read a lot of non-fiction. I just finished Eat, Pray, Love and Middle Age (both given to me by a friends). They were both OK. Middle Age was not my favorite Oates book by far. The next read is for a book club --"Team of Rivals." This is the story of brilliant leadership on the part of Abraham Lincoln. It is a BIG heavy book, and maybe a little too heavy. We'll see.

    Hello bookgrrl!!!
I am thrilled to read that you ordered "Maiden Voyage", let me know when you start reading this book---I promise you will love it. At the moment I just finished two, Yiddish Policeman & The Zero, no reading this week as I have taxes to do :( I will give you a shout when I have picked out my next read. Also, you have a great selection on your shelf---I forgot about ones that I have read.
