I am recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Forensic Chemistry. I have had little time to read during my last 2 semesters, but now during my job search I'm hoping to pick up tha pace. :) My favorite genres include mysteries, historical fiction and certain paranormal fiction.

It was a great book, but I was a little confused by the last chapter and epilogue. Since it's aseries, I'm hoping that the next one will make it make sense.

I didn't like it as much as the Tea Shop mysteries, but still very good!

I enjoyed the book but not quite as much as I did Devil in the White City.

Although at some points in the beginning I found the writing slightly trite as if the author doesn't even take her own characters seriously, I ended up enjoying the story and look forward to others in the series.

A very good mystery set in Victorian England, as a very recently widowed newlywed bride has to deal with the death of her husband and gets involved with discovering the strange circumstances of his death.

It improved a little bit from the last book in the series, but still revolves mostly around the ardeur. There is more background about Jason, which was nice too.

I don't typically go for romance but there are very little blatantly steamy parts. It is a sweet love story that crosses hundreds of years. It perfectly idealizes what most, if not all, women want in a man...a man who loves us for who we are and is willing to fight to keep it.

I liked the storyline but the 1st person narrator, Ophelia, seemed very whiny.

It was a good paranormal book without the pesky romance involved. Although I had a few unanswered questions throughout the book I did enjoy the storyline and the characters.

I liked the book, but I didn't find it as amazing as others have. It was a neat concept, but the physical impossibility of a genetic defect that causes time travel just kept gnawing at me. Otherwise the book was very well written, I know the jumps had to be difficult for the author to deal with (just in keeping chronological order of them!).
