“I love the simplicity in this book. I've read it several times. It always makes me just stop and think....and feel.”

really!even if he loved you passionately, as a friend, a lover and forgave all your faults beforehand, and for each name he called you, he had a significance understood by both of them like a secret way of talking between siblings.you have got to be kidding, no one can resist unconditional love. every one responds to love.i personally think love is the greatest!Ciao, hope to hear from you. if my Fiance calls me "tirzah" i think i'll tingle to my toes and i am not even married so i can only imagine how g8 it would be.
you are just you, i am speechless!
i love redeeming love and you should read it again or you don't like i don't know.

Thanks, bookbybook! I will certainly consider your recommendations. I'm especially interested in your comments on Francine Rivers. I haven't tried her yet, but I note that you're not crazy about the one that seems to get all the buzz. I tend to be a bit hesitant about "Christian" genres. Have you read Girl Meets God by Lauren Winner (I think--I'm doing this from memory)? I really enjoyed that and have been meaning to read it again. Other than that, I always recommend my all-time favorite, Brideshead Revisited (Evelyn Waugh). Oh--and I remember LOVING the Anne of Green Gables books--bet you're having a blast.
Thanks for the note. Do you recommend Rees Howells--Intercessor (not that I should be adding any more books to my Plan to read list. Sigh.)? I had to go to Amazon for a write-up of it...

I'm surprised you didn't like "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers. I loved that book! Although granted, it was predictable to a degree, it didn't turn out exactly like I thought it would at all!
