I picked it up for the cover picture and did like it. I agree, the whole tree thing got to be a bit much. It was slightly over the top and I was thinking "Ok, I get that the tree is trying to get the girl to eat the apples..geez" lol.

I read this here online... I dunno what to say!!

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling delighted and stunned the world on Friday when she announced to a pack house at NYC’s Carnegie Hall that Hogwarts headmaster Dumbledore is gay.

    Like, duh!

The shocked audience gasped and then then applauded, prompting Rowling to say, “I would have told you earlier if I knew it would make you so happy.”

She should have told us sooner! That would have been so wonderfully inspiring to have a character in one of the major children’s literary franchises of our time be gay.

J.K. also revealed that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, who he beat in a battle between good and bad wizards long ago.

“Falling in love can blind us to an extent,” she added, saying Dumbledore was “horribly, terribly let down” and his love for Grindelwald was his “great tragedy”.
