yeah! haha. i love romance novels! :) im not really into carly philips coz i find her novels a little too cliche.. i dont know. I just cant seem to get into them. But i enjoy Janet Evanovich's books. Havent read her plum series but ive read several others by her :) Jennifer Crusie is my favorite contemporary romance author. her stories are all so quirky! :) thanks for adding me.

I really liked it. It's not one of my favorites Nicholas Sparks' books but it was really good. I've read all of his books and really liked all of them even though they're all similar in certain aspects. I still have my favorites though. I'm not sure i'm thrilled about hearing that he wrote this story specifically for Miley Cyrus so it'll be interested to see how the movie does when it comes out next year. I can actually see her playing Ronnie in the movie, I just don't know if she will be that great at it. I don't care for her. I will still go see it but only because I like his stories, not because she's in it. What about you? I read your review, but what did you think?

Breaking in is tough, but there is definitely a market for romance/mystery and chick lit. It is a matter of targeting your audience and reaching out to the right agent. There is a woman in Duxbury who has edited my work. At a cost. But you will want someone to read your manuscript when you are done to give you an idea if it is ready to be marketed.

How did I get published? Hard to say. Luck to some degree. Now I am trying to get my next book published. This time with the help of a NY agent. We'll see. What are you writing about?

The Jennifer Crusie book I just got is called Trust Me On This. Don't know if it's any good or not...but I like most of her books. My favorite authors right now are J.R. Ward, Jeaniene Frost, Nora Roberts, Julie Garwood, Jim Butcher, Anne Stuart, and Kelley Armstrong. I've been reading a lot of Urban Fantasy books and I'm hooked. Between those books, I throw in a mystery, historical romance or romantic suspense book.

You're on paperbackswap, right? I think I sent you a couple of Nora Roberts books about a month ago.

Hi Allison, Thanks for the friendship request. It looks like we have a lot of books in common. I love Jennifer Crusie. Just got my hands on one of her hard-to-find category books. Just not sure when I'll have time to read it. Who's your favorite author?

can you recommend some novels of nora roberts and stephenie laurens. i saw in your shelf that you read a lot of novels from them, can you name some of their novels with similarities in nicholas sparks novels. something that can inspired you, something that will make you fall in love and something that will make you cry. something so moving.
