I love to read, obviously. Have ever since childhood when I would take weekly trips to the library to check out the latest Babysitter's Club book, which I'd be halfway finished with by the time we got home. Reading to me is an adventure and provides a way to escape. This is what our imaginations were created to do. Some of us have better... more »

I enjoyed this one much more than the first, but probably because it dove right into where Airel left off. No slow introduction of characters needed. I had no idea there would be another book in the series, so I expected a conclusion. I gasped when I reached the end! Hope I don't have to wait too long for part 3!! Not sure I can...

Really liked this book. Good characters, good plot line. Only complaint is that at times it seemed the (male) authors were using every female stereotype to shape Airel's character/personality. That aside, she did finally come into her own and I can't wait to read the sequel.

Great start to this series! I think Mead accomplished a smooth crossover, with Bloodlines. I am so excited to continue with this series and these characters that I have come to love! Highly recommend for fans of Vampire Academy.

Writing was a little juvenile (ie. lots of slang), but plot is pretty interesting. Definitely love Jai's character. Charlie too, although at the end I wanted to slap him! Lol Waiting for the sequel. :)

Not really what I expected, but then what does one expect from a book about facial hair?!

Interesting concept, and a good read.

Why did it take me so long to finally read this book?! I loved it, so entertaining and just a great read. Read it in a day because I just couldn't put it down. :D

Eh... romance "novellas" don't really work. Not long enough to build the story and leaves you feeling like you just read the script to a really bad adult film.

Every other book I've read by Andrews, I have loved. I've loved the characters, wanted to be best friends with some of them even. But this one... honestly I wanted to strangle every. single. one. of them! Probably the only character I truly loved was Katherine, and even she was a mess! I was just really irritated by the choices and behaviors of the characters, and it actually took me a while to finish this book because of that.

This book has unexpectedly sucked me in! :) I'm not sure I follow everything, but I plan to read the next in the series, so hopefully it will all come together in the end.
