A warm, wonderful book about family, healing, and second chances. A storyline that could be ripped from the headlines - powerful, real, unblinking look at what it takes to set things right.
Settle in with a cuppa for this one, you won't be getting of the couch until it's finished.

C.S. Lewis speaks, still, to a generation floundering in faith. This story shows that, when it comes to faith, all you really need is imagination - and God will bring it to life for you.

Yann Martel is an unconventional writer, and a welcomed one at that. His love for breaking all the right rules makes him a Post Modern writer to look up to.

Pi is an extraordinary story that is found in the details. The three sections of the book dive deep into different aspects of life, and leave us with the question: Does what you believe change who you are?

Bertrand Russell was a great thinker. Probably one of the best of his time. He's a man of his age, the Modern Age, when it was believed that Science (with a capital "S") would be the savior of us all. His unwavering faith in science seems naive today, but his passion is clear.

His arguments against Christianity are thin - ragged in places. His intellectual argument against Kant's reasoning for the existence of God comes down to him calling Kant a Momma's boy.

His "Why" is never really answered. But, he asks questions that any Christian would do well to ask him/herself. God is not afraid of big questions.

Donald Miller is a conservative Christian dressed in hip clothing. His writing is impacting, his ideas broad-reaching. This is a man's attempt to understand God in every aspect of his life. While at times too introspective (meaning is everywhere), Miller knows where to draw the line and move the analogy along.
In Blue Like Jazz, you are invited to think about God in an all encompassing way - as the God of all of you.

Hot Apple Cider is just what the title implies. Warm, inviting, soothing. It's a book to savor and share with the people you love. Thirty Canadian authors who are Christian share from their hearts about life's uncertain moments, and God's certain love. These pages are filled with grace. Here is a book you will want to return to again and again.
