Pleased to make your acquaintance. Might I ask where you are doing your Master's studies? It seems we have much in common, other than being most likely decades apart in age.:) I, too, have lived in a foreign country, although it was not as a missionary. I lived on Tierra Del Fuego, Chile, South America from the age of 4 until I was 12 y/o. I, too, am an inveterate bookworm and am fascinated by languages. Once I get my Master's, I'd like to take classes to learn Biblical Greek and Hebrew. That's a ways down the road yet, though. I'm unsure now whether I want to be a counselor; I think I may decide to get my Master's and teach psychology at the local community college instead. I'll have to give that decision some prayer, first....another thing we have in common is that we both want to serve the Lord!:) Thanks for asking me to be friends. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.

Well that's good. I have a weird attachment to my books so I tend to have a hard time getting rid of any of them. But I lost a good portion of mine a few years ago when I was moving. I had packed up my stuff and was slowly moving it out of my apartment over the course of a few days and someone broke in and stole a whole bunch of my packed up boxes. I'm sure they were mad when they realized that all they got away with was a few boxes full of books and a box full of pots and pans!!

I love that you have Max Lucado as some of your books. I'm working on a teen version of his new book 3:16. It will be released next spring!
