During my many years of reading, I have seen lots of books come and go, but the ones I am cataloguing here are the ones that mean something to me in some way. I have read nearly all of them at least once, many of them twice, and some multiple times, such as To Kill a Mockingbird which I've read more than fifty times.

I like your photo and your book shelf. I find myself hanging on to books so I can re-read them too. I love to read, I love the library too.

Just finished the Neandertal Enigma. I saw you have read it. It seems to gather all of current knowledge on this sub species and its end 30,000 years ago. Did it provide the answers you were seeking?

I saw you read the Great Mortality and I was wondering if you had read Justinian's Flea? It seems that plague had an equally devastating impact on civilization.

I always wondered what your name meant but now that I am reading "House on the Strand"- I understand. What a great book, I will be finished with it this weekend if everybody leaves me alone......or I will go hide someplace so they can't find me...
    Hope your well and happy.

Hello Bodrugan! Missing you, thought I'd drop you a line. My goodness, last time I looked I think I remember you had read about 1500 books, but now you are up to 4001! Thats pretty amazing.

I saw you had read Paul Theroux's latest book, The Ghost Train. I thought it was interesting to compare this to his earlier book, the Great Railway Bazaar when he took the same trip as a young man.

So glad to see you back with us. Just now got an old friend to join us and it has brought me back to checking on my other friends. Once again I think it is amazing that we have so many books in common. Glad to hear you are OK.

Well I finished it. It won't be among my favorites but It is certainly DDuM. I had to read the last page twice to be sure I had got it right. I have to admit I had no knowledge of Arthur Quiller-Couch. I think I will walk away from Daphne for a while. I never really cared for the Tristan and Iseult story. This was mystical but the reincarnation didn't really work. I don't know why this didn't work for me because l like love stories.
    Thanks for the note.
