“Brian takes a great crack at trying to put down on paper what it means to be a christian theologian in the post modern world. I found his struggles with the limited views many people want us to hold of Jesus and God to be very affirming for my own processes. We seem to be re-writiing what it means to have faith, what it means to say and think "GOD", and what it means to be on a path to follow the lead of the Spirit in this new time and place.
i highly recommend this book ffor anyone who has already started on the path to exlore the church emerging, and the post modern church. but it is not a very good place to start. i would recommend Brian's book "A New Kind off Christian" and the two other books in this series as a more approachable place to begin to explore and open up to this new dialog.”
