My partner and I live in a suburb of Dallas with our two dogs and cats. We're currently working towards the adoption of our first child. My parents and grandparents instilled in me a love of reading from an early age. I've always been an avid science fiction and fantasy fan. I'm an aspiring writer and so far have had two short stories published.

Other than that, various facts about me and things I'm interested in are that I'm gay and an atheist. I enjoy rock climbing, gardening, roleplaying games, and model train building in addition to reading or watching anything with a science fiction or fantasy slant to it. I do try to go beyond those boundaries in books occasionally and enjoy reading books on religion and philosophy as well as gay fiction & non-fiction.

I'm glad I found this site. I've always wanted a place where I could capture & review all the books I've read and plan to read in one place, as well as meet other people who've read what I have and would enjoy discussing books. « less
