I also have worked with cards, crystals, etc, but I find that most of my most accurate predictions come unbidden and often times are not so good. I have foreseen my mother's death, a local murder, the dissappearance of my daughter for over a year, etc. They are often like warnings, though I do often also get strong intuitions about things in general. Mine began coming much stronger after I began walking down my spiritual path a bit more seriously some 9 yrs ago.
