WOAH!!! For all the mothers-to-be or the already-mothers, this book is essential to have during your pregnancy.
What you're going through, your feelings, emotions, pains... etc, this book will relieve you and answer all your questions as good as a doctor or even better.

    A MUST HAVE!

Loved reading it though it took long till I finished it... not that it was dull or anything, but I had too many breaks in between ;)

Well let's see... The story behind getting the "house of Night" books:
I was in the bookstore really tired of reading the books i was reading. I asked the store attendant for a book that would be a mix of Harry Potter and Twilight. He went directly to the house of night books and said: "You will totally enjoy these. I'm really shocked that you haven't read them."
I instantly got the whole 6... the 7th book wasn't available... Anyhow... back to the book...
I truely like it... It's a page turner... full of vampires and magic... AT first, you would be a bit bored but then you get really hooked and intrigued wanting to know more...
So, my advice to you, if you are bored with your reads, go for this one if you are interested in fantasy!

    Happy Reading! :D

    4-1/2 stars!
A 3 volumes Manga! I couldn't add the other 2 as the books' search is going all weird on me again :P
Anyways, I really enjoyed this manga. A sweet love story that started in a train, grew through the help of cyber-friends and ended the right way.
I totally loved and admired the cyber-friends. How they reacted towards the story, their amazing and funny advice, how the story affected their lives and how they stood by the main character :)

    I really love this book
I have read it when I was in 8th grade and I still re-read it once in a while :)
It's about life; of being content about what you have vs. being selfish. The price you pay for being self-centered.

  • Classics in Translation, Volume I: Greek Literature
    • Rated 3 stars

It was a school read, nevertheless, I have read it again for the love of it. I love greek and latin literature.

This book is a translation of plays that their authors have shaped the classical thought:

    Aeneid by Virgil

    Medea by Seneca

And many many more. It doesn't include the full work, just extracts; important extracts :)

    I give it 3 - 1/2 stars :D

  • Straight Talking

This is my first book for Jane Green. I heard so much about her books and thought I would start with this one.
The story is typical chick (chic) lit.

Caution here! It includes a foul language, offensive and the love-making explicit parts weren’t necessary at all. Without those and some traits of the main character, the book would get 4 stars from me.
What I liked about this book is the way it’s written; first person narrative. The book is like a journal of the main character and she talks to you as “the reader” all through the book. I liked it :)

The book is funny, warm, friendly sometimes and you can easily relate to especially if you had a relationship that ended abruptly without you knowing the reason. Other times you would get angry shouting out loud “not fair!”, or feeling revulsion and disgust towards some characters.
    It’s a light read.
If you remove the foul language and the love-making parts, I would recommend this book.
    You make your choice.

    Happy reading :)

  • The Last Lecture
    • Rated 5 stars

    Caution!! a tear-jerker!!
This is a book for all! YES! ALL!

It's a love story with "life"!!
A dying Professor, Randy Pausch (Oct. 23, 1960 - July 25, 2008) wrote this amazing book to pass beautiful experiences (lessons-fused) to his 3 kids and wife.
    - Importance of family.
    - Use your time wisely which will lead you to happiness and life-satisfaction.
    - Live your life to the fullest.
    - Dream BIG.
    - Teamworking through your life.
    - Unleash the tigger inside of you.

and much much more... The Last Lecture is a life-reference that you should keep it safe to remind you of important things in life.

Thank you for reading my review :)

    Happy Reading.

Just a minute ago, I saw a thread on "Your best Literary Love Story" and while posting my BEST, I realized that this book is one of my favorite and yet I don't have it on my shelf!!! lol
Anyways, Dumas portrayed revenge and romance in parallel which is not that easy I think. What I really ADORE in this book is how love survives and endures years of predicaments.
The storyline is beautifully constructed. For me, there wasn't a boring a moment.
I recommend this book for classics lovers :D

A friend lent me this book a while ago that I have finished so fast. Due to it's FUN truthful portrayal of life, I went again and re-read it.
This book is all about love, friendship and sometimes about being a shopoholic.

Are you looking for a light read for the night??? or a reading cleanser in between War & Peace and Doctor Zhivago? I totally recommend this book. You will find the REALITY-BITES-humour that you will totally relate to.

    Happy Reading :D
