Hi everybody,

I am an English teacher from the Netherlands and I love reading (and writing as well). I read everything and anything from cereal boxes to 19th century literature and anything in between. I like talking with people about books we have read and that's why I love being here.

Groetjes, Marcella

Bluejay, you would love the works of Jack Vance I think, I sure do. Here are a few of my favorites for you to consider adding to your wish list: "Tales of the Dying Earth Collection," "Planet of Adventure Collection," "Lyonesse:Trilogy," "Night Lamp," "The Cadwal Chronicles Trilogy," "The Last Castle," "Alastor:Trilogy," "Big Planet," "Showboat World," by Jack Vance. Enjoy and READ ON...

I see that you are reading Lee Child. My favorite is Gone Tomorrow. Trip Wire is really good to.

There's a new member on one of my groups who's highly interested in historical novels, both factual and fictional.
    I thought about you.
Do you have any groups to recommend?

I periodically snoop on the shelves of my Shelfari friends (just for fun).
We have 128 books in common.

    Hi there,
Just wanted to say hi. Not been on line much, and still have not gotten around to getting my facebook fixed. My kids keep pestering me about it, as they have missed our little conversations.

Thanks, Bluejay, for accepting my friend request! The cat photo was one that came with Microsoft when I got this computer. I have four cats, but none of them look like this one.

Thanks so much for the info. I will have to try her. Is she suspenseful in your opinion??? I will have to get ahold of the the first one. I was thinking that she could be read in any order....
