I have been an avid reader my whole life. I like to read a variety of things, most recently that includes the genre chick lit. I love going into bookstores, but my bank account does not so I try to police myself and swap books with friends. There is nothing like a good book! I recently added some children's books I loved growing up - in case... more »

Loved it from cover to cover. I had lots of good laughs and can relate to some of the crazy mother stories!

I loved it!! I especially loved the second story as I found the whole werewolf thing really entertaining and guessing what was going to happen next. I love the Lifetime series and now love the book series it was based on.

I loved it! I loved the exotic setting for the book and I was rooting for things to all work out in the end!

It kept me on the edge of my seat until the end - I really did NOT know what verdict was going to come down for Connie's mom. Hints went either way throughout the book. It was compelling and a great read. I just had to get into the mood to read something not as upbeat as what I normally read. I don't regret it in the least.

I really liked this one by Nora. It was in a very different setting than other Nora (more typical) books and it dealt with some hard issues like rape and islamic culture very well. I loved it! Plus, what girl doesn't like to read about gorgeous gemstones?

I liked this book but it was hard to bond with the characters. Meaning, you'd like some parts of them but not others. I guess I'm just used to characters where you know immediately whether you like them or not. Plus, for the whole book leading up to where it did - I felt the story could have gone on for another two pages to give the reader a bit more satisfaction. It's like the whole book led up to the last page and a half. Anyways, just my opinion.

I just started reading this book and now that I'm halfway through it, I must say I'm very disappointed. It's hard to follow all the jumps and for the first time in a long time I feel my mind wandering on other things so I keep having to reread paragraphs. I hope the movie is much better.
