I love to read...why else would I be here? I read EVERYTHING..my favorite books are about Louisiana, (New Orleans) especially based in the 17th 18th century. Anything cajun, creole or spicy...I LOVE!

I really enjoyed this book and I am becoming attached to this author. I was a little put off by Afeni's smart mouth and grown attitude, but from reading on I figured out where it comes from. Still...no 11yr old is going to tell me what to do or talk back lol. It's a nice story.

This the first I've read by this author and I loved it! If a book gets any emotion going for me, it's guaranteed 5 stars. I had feelings of hurt, anger, sadness and so many OMG and WTF moments. It was slow for me at first, but then something would happen to keep me reading.

The sex scenes are hot, and if you like erotica..you will love this. I don't think all of the situattions were explored enough and I hate the ending, I was left with questions...but overall I would recommend reading. A page turner for sure.

This was a good book. It actually turned out better than I expected. When I first started reading it was a bit slow, but I found it hard to put down. Details the struggles of being gay and in the closet, coming out and other problems that the usual teen has with school, peers, hate, bullies etc.

I didn't liket his book and the only reason I forced myself to read it is because I like the author. I just don't think that vampires is her thing. the storyline made no sense..if you are going to do vampires..you gotta do it!!

This book was so funny, I was cracking up laughing from the start. I can just hear the author's Dad saying this stuff. It reminds me of my grandmother and my aunt who just says whatever they want! Love it!

actually..i didn't read this I couldn't. It usually doesn't take me long to sink my teeth into a vampire book, but this one is a tad bit different. I was thinking since it wasn't that long of a book that it wouldn't take me long to read. I should have been done with it already.

So far from what I gather Jamie Beaverbrook, is a psychologist who falls in love with a young girl who I think may be the vampire, but I haven't gotten this far to figure it out. I know it should not be taking me this long..I love vampires. So I guess so far, my review will not be helpful to anyone. I don't know if I can finish this one, but I will try my hardest!

10/24- I am on page 100 now and it picked up for a minute but I'm back to wondering why I am reading this book. I will give it a few more pages and then I QUIT!

This book was recommended to me here on Amazon. For the life of me I have no idea what book I looked up that relates to this one. The cover and title seemed pretty interesting enough, but I didn't want to buy it. So I decided I would try and get a free copy on one of the swap sites. After a couple of days on my wishlist..BAM I get a hit and the book is being sent from the author? Wow!way cool huh?

The first pages of this book had me confused and I felt like I was playing a role on dumber and dumber, (me being the dumbest) I had no idea what was going on and I somehow sensed that either Andrew, Lin or I, or maybe all of us were high. I don't know if it was the talking animals, or the alien president. I mean you would have to be high to want to kill Elijah Woods (right)I am only saying that because well to be honest I had no idea who he was..but when I googled him his baby pic was cute enough for him to be spared. Ok..back to the book.

I remained confused for quite some time, and I at first I was going..this is so stupid, but I couldn't stop myself from reading. I kept thinking there has to be a plot and something big is going to happen. One of the reviewers made a good point though, maybe I am too old to read(and understand) this book, and maybe older readers won't get it, but for some reason the 20yr old in me was awakened and I think I want to read more from Lin.

I do want to say though while this book was certainly interesting, I enjoy his blog more. For some reason "I get it"

since it's already been spilled out by other reviewers, I don'thave to go into great detail on what the book is about. This is my first time hearing about Patrice Evans aka The Assimilated Negro aka TAN. I didn't know about his blog until I got this book.

I thought that this book would be funny, and it is some of it laugh outloud funny..especially when you can relate to it. I wasn't expecting the book to be in this format and I don't really think it has a particular format. To me it was just a bunch of his blogs that he put in a book.

I enjoyed some stories more than others of course and I had to skip around and read according to titles, because it just wasn't flowing to read straight through for me. I think it's best in little doses.

This is the second "blogger" book that I've read and for some reason I prefer the blogs. Not everyone will like the book, or understand it, but for those of us who can take a joke and not be too serious..it's enjoyable.
