I love thrillers and lots of suspense. I also like a good mystery and if I do read a romance it better have some killing in it.

This was very well written. I enjoyed it very much and couldn't put it down. I would read another book from Iris Johansen. I thought the book focused more on the actual story without the romance getting in the way. It ended very well.

I wasn't a fan of this book at all. It reminded me of an old fashion Harlequin romance. Very boring...very tame. There was absolutely no suspense. And the romance was dead. will I read another Patricia Potter? If all her books are this way...NO.

I received the second book from a book trade 8 months ago. I didn't realize it was a series. I wanted to get to know the character Lacie Wagner, so i tried to find the first book Burnout. Unfortunately, I could not locate it so I ended up reading the second book. It mentioned the first book a few times. I did liked it very much and I regret not reading the books in order. I may have understood who Lacie Wagner was and why she became the person she was in the second book. Dead Tide was well written. Although, I wished it gave more detail of Lacie and St. James relationship after the ordeal. I still liked the ending. Jeannine Kadow writing was very entertaining. I would defiantly give another one of her books a try.

This is part two in a series from Rachel Gibson. I thought it was OK, but not a better read as the first book Sex, Lies, and Online Dating. The ending was so so. I will continue to read the next book in the series with their friend Maddie.

I really liked enjoyed the book , which is a quick read. First book from Rachel Gibson that I've read. She is more of a romance writer to me than mystery. I was into the relationship with the characters than the actually hunt for the serial killer. It was any entertaining read, I didn't want to put it down. So, I will read another one involving the character Lucy's friends.

I had this book for months. I received it for free as a book trade and when I got it I realized it was something I wasn't interested in. I put it to the side and forgotten all about it. I picked it up yesterday when I wanted something new to read. It was better than I thought it would be. It was just an ok book but it did keep me interested. I did figured out who did the deeds, but I still liked reading the book anyway. I will try another of Laurie Breton books.

This book wasn't a big deal. It was something to read for a day or two. Very average whodunit. One minute the lead character Elizabeth was a strong and suddenly she wasn't. That kind of flipped back and forth. I actually didn't care for her at all, but her friend Joclyn was a more likeable character. The relationship between Elizabeth and Dana was very weak. I also felt that the evil deputy ended on a poor note. Nobody didn't even know about her attempted rape. Book was unnecessarily long too. I hoped it would be better.

Hoped for more bloodshed but it was very tamed. I think the ending could have been better. Straight romance you think something major will happen. Of course it doesn't. I've read much worse so i gave it one extra star.

Harlan Coben is a far-fetched writer. There is nothing wrong with that, it whats make his books so good. When I read his stuff i'm always interested. Even when its not that good there will be some satisfaction in the end. I thought this book was slow going. I kept at it because I've read his other books and knew something good would happen. I wasn't wrong. It still was a good read. He tells you from the beginning that if this is your first time reading his books to put it down. You won't think as a new reader its worth the wait and it is. So, if this is your first book for Mr Coben than listen. Put it down for later. Read a couple of his past books and you will be hooked.

I read books from Carla Neggers in the past and wasn't really overwhelmed by her writing. This was a book that was passed on to me from a friend. Not because it was good. She just need to clean off her bookshelf.

I was into it at firstjust from the beginning and than lost intrest in the character Carine Winter completely. The suspense wasn't there and the romance was boring. I thought there would be drama and it really wasn't any. She was trying to make it a whodunit. And it end up with who else could have done it but "__ ". Anyway, I didn't hate it and I definitely didn't like it either.
