Hey Britt!!! Sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet. I've had a migraine coming and going everyday this week. UGH! Forgive me please. Tomorrow? I'm husbandless and child #1-less. I think we're way over due for a GNO! What's your weekend look like? Do you see Jenn tomorrow? Don't think your "half marathon training" fools me. I know the real reason for your romps to the gym.
Thanks for lending me "Left To Tell". You were worried that I might not give it a good review? I don't know how anyone could not love, and feel inspired this book. Thanks again, Shannon
Hey, did you guys have fun without us on Friday? Just say no. jk. We're gonna party when you get back from Shmutah. Is it just you and the kids?
Ditto the Mermaid Chair. I've heard the same several times. Just end with Secret Life and call it good. We have too many other good books on our need to read lists anyway.
the book thief. it's good. read "the thirteenth tale" first. that book was AWESOME. don't read water for elephants.
Thanks, and I'm sure I'll love it. Um....I think I blushed a bit when you called me out on, "The Virgin's Lover". Yeh, the title's a bit much, and truthfully it was a bit racy. It's a series by Phillipa Gregory. They're about the royal peops of the 1500's in Europe(man they're a crazy bunch!). They were religious extremists, yet they had no morals...go figure. I swear, I've enjoyed learning about the history of the royals. What were you thinking?
I did love "The Secret Garden" and "Left to Tell." I agree with you that "Left to Tell" is a testimony builder. How did you, or how are you liking "The Poisonwood Bible?" I'm trying to decide what to pick up next.
Hey Blat! Do you mind if I borrow "Left to Tell"? If it's o-kay, I can get it from Jenn. We need to plan a girls night out soon.
Peace out, Shae-dog
Ha-ha, I was going to let you think I was such a bookie, but no, you have to look at the break down. That 302 is TOTAL books on my shelf, but if you look closer, you can see that half of those are on my wish list/plan to read. Oh well. None the less, I still love to read even if all 302 aren't "I've read". I'll never get through them all. So should we shoot for next weekend for our jump-for-Kent-cause-he-got-a-new-job dinner? Maybe we should have a party-we're overdue.
Weekend was good, maybe because I got to finish a whole book (Thousand Splendid Suns) and clean out my entire loft that was a mountain of clutter. So I obviously didn't see my Mom much or my brother. Is that why it was so good?
Hello my friend! We are here at exactly the same time so I thought I'd say hi! Whatsa happenin' hot stuff?
I have an extra copy of Sheri Dew's book, "If Life Were Easy..." Remind me the next time if I haven't given it to you. I saw it on your wish list and it was a great Utah find for $5. I bought one too many copies for Christmas presents one year. I loved "Walk Two Moons." What a great book!
How are you liking "The Poisonwood Bible?" I'm on page 119 and loving it.
Allright Missy! I have yet to see Reesies cut little mug on my note section. Just one little love letter...please?
