Let's see, I like a lot of stuff, you'll have to forgive me. I like Languages. In fact I'm a linguistics major. I specialise in Germanic and Romance languages as well as phonetics and phonology. I'm big into historical and comparative linguistics.

    • This is an introduction to Language in relation to the Sociology of Knowledge, also for linguistic anthropology. It examines theories and philosophies based around this field. Two sections are focused on the works of Franz Boas and Edward Sapir. It is not in favor of a pure Whorfian relativism, and attacks that perspective.
      Landar also also discusses the history of thought concerning language, language history, and linguistics.
