Thank you Vaani for bringing the issue to my notice. The wiki is relocated to delhibookclubmeet.pbwiki.com. The invite key is books. You can update your details now. Also the venue will be changed to Crossword, citymall, Saket coz we will not be allowed to hold the meet in the library and it is not wise to sit out in the hot.

Keep in sync with the wiki. Venue will be updated by Friday night. Looking forward to your active participation.

hmm book club sounds fun, but I don't think a book club that covers entire NCR area will be much of a success. Imagine traveling down to Gurgaon to get/return your books.

Umm no... I dont own all of them, maybe a very small fraction of what's on the shelf... always found a library wherever I've been.. and have a book in my bag to read in spare moments.. so that's what makes up the shelf.. !

well, i actually do own or have owned most of the books you see on my shelf. I live in Gurgaon, and Haryana being Haryana, I don't even expect a library to come up. It is an expensive passion, but I am helpless with love for books :-)

    pardha s says

these are the words told by lord krishna
if you are other than the telugu i will explain it later
To my knowledge people who reads Krishnamurthy’s philosophy usually lose faith in God with form
to them truth is everything (which is a path less land according to JK )
but still after (somehow) reaching that path less land also (you or me ) not feeling that well, that happy as JK feels
    why??????????????
One can explain again in terms of JK:: we want that experience (that conversation) again, again and again…………………………….and so on
Don’t you feel all these explanations doesn’t liberate us
Finally what remains is same confusion (an unclear ray of light )
It’s not whether JK is correct or not
It’s all about one’s own self
“What is actually the man’s endeavour
His deception, his hypocricies, his search
And what is it that really matters
Its my life, myself, my pettiness, my shallowness,
my violence, my greed, my ambition,
my daily agony and endless sorrow
the conflict in continuity of pleasure or the avoidance of pain”
What to do with all of them?
One might have experienced or set himself free as JK has
but still this question remains “what to do with this self?”
I think this one question makes us to think beyond what JK is telling

    Hi vaani,
    How are you?

It was lost in the battle of existence……….”
These lines by you forcing me to quote the following

    నిరంతర ఈశ్వర ధ్యానం , విరక్తి కలిగియుండుట , కోరికలు లేకుందుట మోక్ష సాధనాలని చెప్పేను
