Can't do date added since I'm going backwards from my list. Have to stick with alphabetical by author since that's how my mind works. The red wine and chocolate is an excellent (and healthy) solution to any mess. I'm with you.
Ooops, Sue Grafton"s a, b, c not Evanovich 1, 2, 3. And do you know why the book cover turns up blank after weeks on the shelf with the right cover?? Strange.
Hi, I've got an irritation and wonder if you know how to fix it. It's on my bookshelf. I've read 2 books by M. C. Beaton. 1 shows up where it should (alphabetical by author) and the other shows up with the "m" authors. That kind of thing drives me nuts. Obviously I don't have enough to do to be so bothered by it. Anyway to rearrange ones shelf? Other bother is Evanovich's who-dun-its that are numbered. I've read 1, 2, and 3 but they're out of sync on the shelf. Can't stand to look at it. Solutions? Or am I just at the mercy of the computer that runs the show?
I found a hard cover copy (looks unopened) of "Destiny of the Republic" at Goodwill today for $1.87 (senior discount on Monday). I knew you thought it was great so I grabbed it quick. As much fun as winning at slots. Did I tell you I also found a like brand new copy of "The Big Burn" last month at the Thornton Goodwill but it wasn't Monday so I had to pay $2.12. So much fun treasure hunting for the good ones.
No way can that be brain candy! Lighten up. Such an intellectual.
OH Yes. Wonderful. I'm going backward in time shelving my read list and only do a few a day so it's not up there yet. You really are keeping track of me!!! I'm afraid that most of what's on your shelf is over my head. But fun to see what you're up to anyway.
Hey Barb. Have you read any accounts of The Manhattan Project? I would like to find a good book on it.
