In reverse order: I've read all the Kellerman books, both authors and their son. The earlier stuff is superior in my opinion. The same is true with Cornwell. If you read her early stuff it is awesome. The "non-Scarpetta" novels are not as gripping. When I was very young I loved to read those historical family sagas, sort of romance, but a little intrigue. As soon as I started reading mysteries, I was hooked. I tend to look for authors that continue with a character or a theme. I like the familiarity. Last series I read was Carol O'Connell. I couldn't put them down.Let me know what you think of Jeffery Deaver.
