Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published a month it is a little discouraging. I can just picture my book underneath that pile being crushed. I didn’t think there were that many writers out there. Must be a factory out there producing them like peanut butter cookies.

Ok on the christine falls novel. I was able to purchase that one so I will check it out. I did order the first 2 by Sarah Raynes, so I will have to let u know how it was. I have alot of books to read on my to-read pile as well. I have so many and this site helps me just collect more.
Im not sure if I would like Peter Temple. I see that u have also read Benjamin Black's book did u like that one???? What have u heard about the novel by Sarah Rayne???

While browsing John Connolly's books, I noticed that you have read quite a few of them. I have read the Book of Lost Things, which is now one of my favorite books, and I am thinking of reading some of the Charlie Parker series. Would you suggest reading them in order, or does it matter?
