Btw, you should use your own picture, you're far prettier in real life. :)

Hi. :) This may very well be the first interaction you've had on this site in nearly half a year, based on my observations of other notes. ;) Hope you're having a great day!

Melissa, thank you for the friending. I think you would love reading "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" by Mark Haddon and as Brendan said, "The Kite Runner" is a wonderful, brilliantly scribed story! Enjoy and READ ON...

I have a feeling this site could be addicting. I have wondered sometimes how many books I've read in my life. I wonder if I can even remember them all.

Sounds great. I think that when I rated those, I was much more harsh with my ratings than I've become since; I'd probably give most of the three stars four stars at this point... Anyway. Yeah. Cool.

I'm excited to see you're going to try the Pendragon series! =) I started reading them in ninth grade, and read 1-6 (among other books) over the next couple of years. I didn't read the seventh until just a few weeks ago, and I was totally hooked again. I finished the eighth last night (couldn't have put it down if my house had been on fire), reserved the ninth at the library tonight, and can't wait to finally say I've read all ten of them! And, so help me, if anyone spoils the ending for me, I'll kill them at this point. =) But anyway. They are definitely geared toward the young adult crowd, but I'm totally willing to overlook their quirkiness in favor of the innovative plots (especially from Book 3 on), and their brilliant (and often frightening (although enlightening)) social commentary, most particularly in books 4 and 7... Also, probably my favorite aspect of the series is the fact that the author is an absolute master of plot twists. He doesn't force them, you never see them coming, and they always blow your mind. I love it! Also, the nature of the villian is singularly intriguing and unique, and only becomes more so as the series progresses. Overall, my advice is to not give up on them at any point; they get better and better (although I like them all). I hope you will, too! =)
