I am a mom to a rambunctious 3 year old, wife of six years, and I work part time outside the home in a variety of ways.
I would call my book preferences somewhat eclectic. I've been known to bring something home from the library based only on how the book felt in my hand or the texture of the cover. When I find something I like by an author, I will read other books written by the same author, although I don't always like everything he or she writes.
To support my habit, I have a part time job at a local bookstore, which affords me both a decent discount on books, and the chance to read anything I can get my hands on during downtime. I currently have three different books I am reading while at work.
I've told my husband on numerous occassions that when I die, to please scatter my ashes at either Barnes and Noble or Borders, so that I may spend all eternity whispering my favorites into people's ears.
