It seems like every time I add a new book to my list, you've gotten to it first! I'm not even surprised anymore when I see your icon off to the side with the people who've read it. You must read as much as I do!

    Hi bibliomaniac,
I just noticed that you are from Ponte Vedra Beach...I have a cousin who lives there too! We were down there last year from my Great Aunt's 100 birthday just before the big golf tournament at Sawgrass. Very pretty area! I am also a big fan of J.D. Robb always waiting for her next book! The Twilight Saga books are on my to read pile that is ever growing larger! I have to stop looking at everyone's bookshelves but it's so much fun! I'm intrigued with "The Book Of Bright Ideas," that you added to your favorites! I guess I'll add that to my list too!

    Eclectic Book Club Peeps:

All righty, let's have those nominations for our next big read. What's everyone in the mood for?

Post your selections in the "Genres" thread and we'll hash it out. If that takes too much energy, I will put all genres nominated in a hat and pick one at random!

May nominees have been posted on the Good Reads Book Group! Make sure to stop by and vote by March 17th! Remember, everyone who votes gets a chance to be the next member to select nominees for the following month. Our April winner was "Soul Catcher" by Michael C. White. Discussion will begin on April first.

Because we have so many books in common you show up on my "homepage"

I was reading your profile and had a good chuckle. My 18 yr old and I were at B&N, walked through the door and both adjusted our purses and sigh-ed as in, where do we start?

Only difference between us is she has the writing bug as well.
Confession time--- She is a freshmen in college and I've already got the literature from the administration on "helicopter parents" heehehe I told my daughter to rest assured, I'm NOT like those OTHER parents. If she should have a problem with a room mate, I would never slap their parent. LOL
I've survived so far because she is only an IM away, if she comes home I insist on bagging her laundry by what drawer they go in , because the 15 mins of freedom she allowed me after arriving at her dorm room, while she was setting up her computer with an internet connection, allowed me to decide where I THOUGHT everything should go. :D Admitting I have a problem is the first step. ;)
My younger one is only a Freshman in High School, another reader!

Hi, Tina! I visited your page today te get more book titles for my kids at school. The Sharon Draper books and a couple of the others you recommended are NOT staying on my shelves. As soon as one student turns one in, he or she will tell me the name of someone else who has asked to read it. It's wonderful to see students reading when they have always been adamant about not liking to read! Thanks for your help. We're taking our state-mandated ELA test in less than two weeks. I hope the reading has helped the kids with fluency and word choice in writing. Thanks again for your suggestions. How are things going for you?

Hi, let me go in and send you another group invite. The other girls did the trimming as I'm rather new to the whole admin thing. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell how long someone has been a member of the group or how many times they've posted. Anyway, I'll get that invite over to you and please jump in and have fun:)
