“In this book I have learned so many things, to never lie. Phillop in this book has lied about something that has lead him and his ELA teacher in a condition they would rather not be in. The news about Phillop being suspeneded for singing the Star Spangeled Banner has been going all around the world . The character that really caught my eye was Miss Narwin because hse has been through so much and still kept her head held high. Also she never lied about the situation with her and Phillop to the reporters and about the incident.This book really interest me because they teach you life lessons and the things you have to face and go through if you say or do something that ever even happened. The different conversations and memos really helped me in the book because they were set up into sections. One thing that I would like the book to change is to put a few pictures to actually show us a visual of whats happining. But for the most part I really enjoyed the book and the many morals that were present throughout the book.”

“The book Nothing but the Truth was a very funny story. In nothing but the truth a 9th grade boy Phillip Malloy went to Harriston High School. Phillip was a very entertaining , not caring, and lazy boy who didn’t care about anything really. Phillip was going to try out for track, however he was failing English so he couldn’t try out. My favorite character in the book is Mrs. Malloy. I like Mrs. Malloy because through all the commotion she stayed calm and really didn’t take any side. She tried to see every point of view and listen. The thing that I liked about the book was that it was written in different forms and not all in paragraph form. I really loved the book and disliked nothing about it. My general opinion about the book is that its great and very entertaining. ”

“What I mainly think about the Nothing but the Truth book is it should have a solution to the problem of finding out the story of Philip’s singing of the Star Spangled Banner. If I were to make the story I would mainly explain to you of not putting Philip out of class for singing the Star Spangled Banner. I’m on Philip side and not on Miss Narwin because she has no reason of putting Philip out of class starting chaos over nothing. The whole point was describing the case between Miss Narwin and Philip of if she is being a patriotic teacher to Philip of not letting him sing during the morning announcements.”

“Nothing but the Truth is basically a story on how a Ninth Grade boy name Philip Malloy starts to sing the National Anthem and his teacher Miss Narwin asked him to stop several times and he didn’t so she put him out and he told others that she didn’t like him.My favorit charceter is Dr.Joseph Paleni the assistant principal.In the book Dr.Palleni behavior is very poor,He clowns durning the morning ancoments which makes it funny.What i like about the book is that its funny at times and its very interseting.I didnt really like the it was written in memos. My general opionion about the is that is was very good.”
