As a lebanese/american christian..I have a VERY strong desire not to have anything about islam posted on my page here. I don't care if it is a link, article, picture or anything else. Kindly refrain. I'd love nothing better than to get into a political discussion about how the militant islamic group hezbollah has ripped Lebanon apart so much so that marionite lebanese christians are fleeing, but this isn't the place and you're probably not the person.
Again, keep that rubbish off my page.

Love in the Time of Cholera..what a wonderful read that was....I tried to read Lucy Gault awhile back..couldn't finish it...I guess I prefer Trevor's short stories...

I know! It's quite an upgrade isn't it? And you've read Winterson's Sexing the Cherry! What did you think? I enjoyed it..I love her writing style..a very, very unique voice she brings to each book...my fav by her is Written on the Body and Art & Lies.

I love Vikram Seth's work. He's Salman Rushdie without all the Fatwah baggage. Time saving hint - Not sure if you noticed or not, but you can add books to your shelf if you see something you've read on someone else's shelf. It seems much quicker than using their search engine at times. At least that's been my experience. Welcome btw!
