The Third Wave -- from 20+ years ago, it's about paradigm shift: (1) agricultural revolution; (2) industrial revolution; and (3) technological revolution. Holds up pretty well.
Re the Red Sox: they were not playing at Fenway Park today -- it was the minor league teams in the Red Sox team -- a chance to see and support players who may turn up on the Sox later. What a fun day! but I don't think I have any books about the Sox -- want to recommend one? (that's a joke BTW ..)

Oh, but thanks for reminding me about the short stories -- they aren't on the shelves and I MIGHT have forgotten.

I have a lot of books that were published overseas and I can't find them in the Shelfari or Amazon listings. Or some editions that are too old and I can't find them, like a copy of THE MOONSTONE from 1952.

Sigh! Betty, I told you my books were shelved all randomly when we unpacked here in Avon, and I'm working around the house clockwise to enter them in my so-called spare time. Still only on the second bookcase, and BABE and TOONIES are on the 4th, I can see them from here.

What was the FIRST book I entered? Your GRAND, of course, because it's on the table next to my chair!
