    I just finished "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers... it's the story of the prophet Hosea, retold as a story of the gold rush days... it was harsh in the the beginning (the story of how his wife ended up a prostitute) but it is absolutely wonderful. It's the first Christian fiction I've read in a while and I was very impressed! Unfortunately, I can't add it to my shelf 'cause they don't have the book in the system!
