One of the funniest books I've ever read! Great comedy writing! I am a boring whitey who simply can't understand why we can't evolve past sexism and racism. I love all of the stereotypes explained in this book - he even put in a glossary of racial epithets! I would not recommend this book for anyone who gets offended, but he covers everybody.

Pretty good book, with a cool, unique story. Vastly overrated, my goodness. People are treating this series along with the Twilight saga as the greatest books of our generation, and that's simply not true.

Wow, this book was right up my alley - dark, post apocalyptic view with realistic knowledge of what happened (none at all). Just the survival tactics and realism alone make it one of my favorite books ever. I can't watch to see the movie.

It's about as cliche as you can get, but I really can relate to this character. The way he judges everyone around him and finds the negativity in the littlest daily things is very relate-able for me. That's really the only reason I like it so much. It's a good classic.

I'm a pretty big fan of David Cross. This book has mostly really hilarious chapters, but then some chapters than seemed as if he wrote them while really depressed. Probably the best book by a comedian I've ever read, but I enjoy his stand up better. It's how he presents his material with all the satire that makes him so brilliant, you capture that equally in this book.
