Married to my high school sweetheart with one crazy Jack Russell. Addicted to all types of books but they must have a happy ending. Love sexy men, shoes, purses, pizza, Pepsi, music, movies, laughter, cake and puppies. I have both a Kindle and a Nook, but I still love to read paperback books. I always have a book in my purse.

I want to thank Lesley at My Keeper Shelf for introducing me to this book in her list of Favorite Bad Ass Biker Books: http://mykeepershelf.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/my-favourite-badass-biker-books.html

I am always on the look out for more sexy badass biker books and I definitely enjoyed Wilde Ride ~ especially the epilogue that was told from Ryder's point of view!! So good!!! I have to say that while I LOVED Ryder, Ella did get on my nerves a bit but overall an entertaining read and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series about Payton and Jack.

    4 out of 5 rating.

"I'm standing in front of you, Josie. You just have to turn around." (Liam to Josie *sigh*)

Wow...I didn't really know what to expect out of this book, but this story was definitely not it. Forever My Girl was so much more than I thought it would be and I absolutely loved every bit of it!! I just couldn't bring myself to put it down and leave Liam and Josie. I loved their characters so much and I wanted them to get their HEA so bad!!

What finally brought Liam back to his hometown was extremely sad and it was something that I was not expecting. But it added so much depth and emotion to the characters and story. I was sucked into the story through these lovable characters from the beginning and found myself thinking about them long after the story ended. Liam was definitely swoon~worthy!! One of my favorites scenes is when Josie finally sees his tattoo. *sigh* My other favorite part is at the end, but I am trying not to give away too many spoilers~it is so hard!! lol ;)

I loved how the POV varied between Josie and Liam through out the story. I especially loved being taken back to their past. The way that Liam was with Peyton and Noah just melted my heart~Peyton was such a cute character~broke my heart!! I felt really bad for Nick and the way that it all played out for him. He wasn't a bad guy and I didn't feel he deserved to be treated the way he was. He was desperately trying to hold onto his family as it was slipping through his fingers. I hope that maybe *crossesfingers*, Heidi has a HEA planned for him.

I LOVE young love, especially childhood sweethearts, that find their soul mates in each other at such a young age and are able to build a strong loving life together that grows through the years. I have my fingers crossed once again in the hopes that Katelyn winds up with Harrison. lol Loved the idea of these two together. Oh...Sam was such a bitch!!

Such a great story that is definitely going into my TBR pile to be reread. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series, hoping to return to some of my favorite characters. I am such a HUGE fan of Heidi McLaughlin after reading Forever My Girl.

Oh...I have to add that I love this cover!! I am definitely hooked on this series.

There is one thing that I didn't understand and maybe that's because I'm from NJ, but the whole dropping beer bottles into the bed of a truck from the water tower just screamed dangerous to me~the flying glass and having to get down while drunk?!?! lol :) 5 out of 5 rating!!

I liked February and Colt alot and I enjoyed their story and seeing them finally get the HEA they deserved especially after all that they suffered but this was definitely not my favorite KA book at all. Even though I liked them as a couple, there was just something missing for me in this story. I thought it was good and I am happy that I read it but I didn't LOVE it like I normally LOVE KA's books. And I'm not sure that it will be a reread for me. It did have a very sweet ending though!! I am definitely looking forward to reading Grahams book. 4 out of 5 rating!!

  • Wicked Cravings
    • Rated 5 stars

I LOVED Feral Sins so much that I couldn't wait for Dante in Wicked Cravings. Oh...Dante...I just absolutely loved him. Dante and Jamie were perfect together and so much fun to read. Suzanne definitely did not disappoint in delivering another fantastic book. I cannot wait for more!!

Wicked Cravings follows up a couple of months after the end of Feral Sins with Trey and Taryn waiting for the arrival of their baby and how everyone is dealing with the new changes to the pack. This is Dante's story and it is a great one. Dante is a workaholic Beta who is so not interested in finding his true mate because he thinks he will be made to choose between her and his duties to the pack. He is convinced that he can't have both. Jamie and her brother are new additions to the pack but they are both from Dante and Trey's old pack. She has been chasing after Dante since they were kids and up until he left the pack. Jamie doesn't want to find her true mate either but for totally different reasons~that she is determined to keep hidden. She gives up on Dante ever loving her the way she wants after hearing him say that she is not his type. And that is when the fun begins because once she starts ignoring him, he about loses his mind. I think one of the best parts is when Jamie offers to help Dante with his job and making him see that maybe he can have it all.

Wicked Cravings was filled with all the things that I have come to love about Suzanne's writing. Romance, laughter, love, tears, excitement, heartache and incredibly HOT HOT HOT sex!! Her characters pulled me in right from the start and dared me not to fall in love with them!! They were such a fun lovable mix that made the story so entertaining to read. One of my absolute favorites is Dominic~I just love all of his cheesy perverted one liners and I am so looking forward to his book and finding out who his mate is. I was so happy that the rest of my favorites also returned and it was great to get more Trey and Taryn and their new addition. So sweet!! Nick and Shaya broke my heart and I am hoping Suzanne has good things for them in the future. It will be interesting to read if they can work through their differences~well really it is just Nick who has to stop being an asshat!! lol :)

Dante and Jamie were such a great couple. I just loved how Dante was with her. Especially when he finally stopped fighting his feelings for Jamie and worked for their relationship. I loved that he made mistakes but admitted to them and apologized and tried to learn from those mistakes and be a better man for her. *sigh* I also loved how Jamie was able to get Dante to relax more. Their training scenes were so much fun to read and I have to say that I loved Dante's possessiveness and protectiveness with Jamie and that Jamie didn't let him roll over her but stood up to him and fought for what she wanted. These two had some sizzling sex scenes but I loved how they were able to have fun and laugh with each other all while still being smoking hot!! They are definitely a sweet and spicy mix!! I so wanted them to get their HEA.

Just a great story that is definitely in my keeper pile to be reread. Cannot wait for more. 5 out of 5 rating!!

This is a favorite series of mine. I have some crazy mad love for Adam and Mercy. I think that this series continues to get better and better as Mercy and Adam's relationship continues to grow and mature. I love them together so much. I loved reading parts of story from Adam's POV~so good. I have to say that I was shocked by one of the things that happened as I was not expecting it and it was so sad. I loved getting to read about some of my other favorite characters~Stephan, Kyle, Warren, Jesse, Tad, Ben and I missed not reading about Samuel but I loved the addition of Asil. I'm so looking forward to more. 4 out of 5 rating.

  • Reaper's Property
    • Rated 5 stars

I have some mad crazy love for this book!!! Horse just did it for me in a BIG way!!! I also loved Marie. I was so not expecting what I got from Reaper's Property. I was just blown away and no matter what I write in this review it will not be good enough to express how much I truly love these characters and this story. It had everything that I LOVE in a book and so much more. Joanna has definitely earned herself a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan in me and I cannot wait for more. I was so excited to read that other characters I love in this book will also be getting books of their own!! Woo-Hoo!!! I am one happy girl!! :)

I completely devoured this book (kind of like Horse devoured Marie. lol ) and I never wanted it to end. I wasn't ready to leave Horse and Marie and rest of their gang of bad assess!! lol I was instantly absorbed into this entertaining story of crude motorcycle riding hotties and I just couldn't get enough.

Oh...Horse *shivers* He was a character with so many layers. He was arrogant, cocky, funny, a jerk, loyal, cold, loving, vulnerable, caring, sweet, dirty~mouthed, rough, total ass~hat, sexy, hot and a total sex god!! I mean really how could I not fall in love with a motorcycle gang badass and former soldier with the name of Horse. I LOVED the scene where he told Marie the meaning behind his name~so funny!! Oh..how I loved him. He is right up there on my list of my all-time favorite heroes. I think I might even love him more than Tack. *gasp* Horse totally blows all my other favorite heroes out of the water with his utter badassness!! lol I totally wanted to be Marie!! lol Oh..Marie..I just loved her...she was the total opposite of Horse in every way but they worked so well as a couple. I just loved these two together so much. She made me laugh so much. She was a great character and I loved how in most of the things that happened she was so clueless and drove Horse nuts!! lol And OMG...the sex about did me in with the sheer hotness of it. But again, how could it not with a hero named Horse!!! What really drew me to his character was the tender way he treated Marie. Don't get me wrong there were plenty of times she should have kicked him in his junk but for the most part he was so loving with her. I loved how he tried to protect her and think of a way to keep her and her brother safe. Oh...the drunk text messages~I about died!! lol They definitely had their share of misunderstandings!! Oh and how could I forget "sweet but"~I about died with that scene too!! lol So freaking good!! Oh...the scene with Horse at The Line and what happened as a result between him and Marie. Him tracing her face with his fingers the morning after that scene was one of my favorites. The scene where he teaches her to shoot a gun was so funny. And I loved the scene with them in the hot springs. I could go on and on!! lol

Reaper's property was filled with laughter and love and definitely tears. And a great buch of secondary characters. I loved Picnic and cannot wait for his book as well as Ruger and then Painter and Em. I wasn't expecting one of the things to happen and it was extremely sad. But OMG...the hot dirty sex!!! *sigh* All of these things add up to one AWESOME story that I am so glad I read.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED the ending. Well...I just loved every single thing about this book and it is another great example of why I love to read so much. This is definitely going to the top of my keeper pile to be reread. I am so looking forward to more from Joanna Wylde.

    BEST OF THE BEST rating!!

  • Embattled Hearts (Lost And Found Series)
    • Rated 5 stars

Oh...John...I loved his character so much and I loved Shannon equally as much. They were perfect for each other. Such a great couple and so much fun to read. This book starts out about 5 years after the end of Embattled Road and I was so glad that Duncan, Chad and John were making a go of their private detective agency and employing other wounded soldiers. Each of these 3 heroes quickly won me over in Embattled Road and I was so looking forward to reading more about them.

I loved that John found his soul mate in Shannon and that she didn't put up with his crap but called him on it. I especially loved that she didn't pity him and didn't really see him as being disabled. I absolutely loved when she would curl up in his lap while he was sitting in his wheel chair. They also had some pretty SMOKING HOT sex. ;)

Such a great story with lovable sigh inducing heroes that pulled me in from the start. Oh..I loved Zeke and Ember and hope to read more about them in the series. *crossesfingers* I was totally entertained watching John and Shannon struggle on their way to a HEA. Reading John fall in love with Shannon was so entertaining. Embattled Hearts definitely tugged on my heart. I loved getting to read a little more about Chad and Duncan and cannot wait for their books and hopefully read more about John and Shannon.

I loved the concept of this series and how their agency employed other wounded vets. So good!! I am definitely hooked on this series. I was absorbed in to the story and couldn't wait to see what happened next. It was full of love, laughter, tears, some nail~biting moments and of course sexy heroes~everything that I love in a book. I didn't want it to end.

I love how John protected Shannon~Oh...the scene where he gets glass in his hands and in the wheels of his chair while trying to save her and she takes care of him~just about does me in. Just loved these two characters together. Oh and the scene with the bracelet and her misunderstanding of what it meant. So good!! I loved how Shannon was able to handle him and see beyond his gruffness. He was so tough and hard on the outside but so tender on the inside with Shannon. I just wanted to crawl all over him!! lol ;) His childhood broke my heart. J.M. really got to me with John's story. He definitely didn't have an easy time of it. But I think that Shannon was definitely his reward. They were just what the other needed.

Just a great story and I can't wait for more. I would definitely recommend and this is a definite reread for me. Embattled Road and Embattled Hearts made me such a HUGE fan of J.M. 5 out of 5 rating.

  • The Embattled Road
    • Rated 5 stars

I would definitely recommend reading Embattled Road prior to reading the Lost and Found series as it is a prequel of about 40 pages introducing the 3 heroes and how they came together to form an all-vet detective agency. It gives you a glimpse into each of their lives and their individual struggle to gain back their lives after being injured during the war.

I definitely have a thing for a man in uniform and have a weakness for wounded soldiers either physically or mentally. But what really got me interested in this series and the author is her Note in the beginning of the book: (here is just a little part of it) "I seriously believe there is a soul mate for everybody. The external package doesn't matter when it comes to the heart." I totally agree and this is also why I love to read. With a statement like that I couldn't wait to read this series because what totally does me in is a story in which a wounded hero gets his HEA with a heroine who is strong and lovable and feisty enough to win his heart.

I just wanted to wrap these 3 up in my arms. I instantly loved each one of them and cannot wait to get their full stories and meet the heroines who are their soul mates. This prequel might be little but it was packed full of heartache, laughter, friendship and 3 swoon~worthy heroes. 5 out of 5 rating.
