It was a very quiet Christmas for my family as well. My brother couldn't make it home, so it was just three of us. It was a little odd, as this is the first time ever, it hasn't been at least the four of us. :-(

Good luck with your goal. I can't imagine I'll read nearly as much next year as I did this year. I was simply wanting to read more this year than last, and I over doubled it! I have no life... ;-)

Hope you had a nice Christmas! :-) I remember at the beginning of last year, you posted a list of categories that you wanted to read a certain number of books in 2009 to fit each category. Which group did that come from? Are they doing it again for 2010? If so, I'm interested in joining. Was it the Challenged Reader group? Thanks again!

Your list looks wonderful. There are quite a few books on the list that I am familiar with and I am sure you will enjoy. Of those there are several that should be fast reads for you, like Where the Red Fern Grows and Night. Others on the list I have never even heard of. I will be interested to watch your progression and read reviews as you finish books.

If my memory serves me right I was talking to you on a fairly regular basis for a while. I believe during this time you had created a top 100 or so books that you wanted to read and had a blog for those.
