I am proud to be from the South - where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed.
Things I like: My husband, my two kids, my three dogs, My Nook, naming inanimate objects, the county fair in the fall, quotes, hearts, red and white polka dots, road trips, Dulce de Leche ice cream, cooking, junking, mixed media art, Halloween, Bohemian style, Tracy Porter, blogging, movies, vintage clothes, Etsy, hardback books, movies( especially scary ones!), vintage postcards, anything made in Italy or France, roasting marshmallows, Hot Tamales (the candy), candles, classic muscle cars, UFC/MMA.
Things I don't like: my food touching, bills, the month left over at the end of the money, driving in the rain, green peas, people neglecting their pets, litterbugs, busybodies, hypocrites, plastic people, nuts in my brownies, people who can't drive, roaches.
