Hi Shelfari people! I've always loved to read. In kindergarten I read at a first grade level and have always been able to find books that suited my taste. In third grade I moved to a new city and that meant a new school and the school had a smaller library and less books that I really wanted to read and that continued through fifth grade. In seventh grade I moved again to a K-8 school and never used the library because elementary school libraries suck. Now I’m in high school, finally, and I get to start driving in less than a year! And I’ve been part if Shelfari for over 2 ½ years. I'm very happy that my friend told me about this site so I can share my passion for reading with all of you! I'm a singer and actress, and an aspiring author.

John and Hank Green are pretty much one of my main reasons I am the way I am. I discovered them about a year ago, and since then I’ve become a much more self-aware, confident nerd. Being part of such a community as the Nerdfighters is amazing.
I am also like this because of the Young Writers group here. Another amazing group of people like myself, and equally as awesome as Nerdfighters. I love these people so much!
