Yep. I was in DC for the book festival. I met Scott Westerfeld back in October when he was on tour. I got A Certain Slant of Light to review but never actually read it. Now it's on my insanly long list of books to read.
TWO DAYS!!!!!!!Excuse me while I scream in excitement.
Yea, city of bones was great. It had a lot of humor but it was also serious and surprising. The ending was totally Star wars with a whole luke laya twist, but other then that it was good.
You have some of my favorite books on your shelf and i love your name, very neat. PS. waz up -t
Why is Eclipse refusing to show up on my shelf?(Hello lovey!)
yea I am with paperbackswap too. I guess I like chick lit- How did you like Bridget Jone's Diary?
Some of my books are on your list, so I thought I'd drop in and say Hello. So....Hello.
:D You're smart to listen to my recommendations. *grin* Hope you enjoy DL. The fifth in the series is coming out in September, so you're just in time to catch up. Actually, I think it comes out just a few days before we see each other. Which I totally can't wait for. My fam is sick of hearing me talk about it. :)Love ya babe!
Hey! *bored* Wazzup?
On the YA side: If you like Mates, Dates... you should try the Confessions of Georgia Nicholson series by Louise Rennison, e.g. Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging. Much hilariosity in her Brit slang. Also with so many books starting with Alice, try Alice I Think by Susan Juby. Extremely funny teen outcast perspective, if it hits you right.
I LOVE YOU TOO!!! *smooch*
