    Yes, I read it ages ago and I thought that it was very good (even if it is a bit dated). I don't necessarily know where she will go with a sequel, but I am willing to try it out.

    Seriously, you need to read Battle Royale, just so that I can talk to someone about it. For all the violence and killing that Perfume lacked, this book has it in spades. I have been so tense while I am reading it since I STARTED it. Hoorah!

Nominations have started for our August author, deadline for nominations is July 11 at noon, so we have time to vote.     I started a group called Read-a-Likes, and I'm trying to get some active readers involved in the group to help create lists of, well, read-a-likes. The group is small as I just started it the other day and only have a few posts, but I'd really like to get some more active members that can help create these lists. I think that it would come in handy for other members that are looking for some helpful readers advisory.     Hey Becky L, I see you have one of my favorite new authors on your shelf. I've been buying up James Rollins books everywhere I can find them. With his last book I just about freaked when the character I thought had died at the of the last book might still be alive. I'm anxiously awaiting his next book. And every time I write that last part I can hear my readers saying the same thing. Back to writing for me.
