Laura is a 20 year old college student aspiring to be a writer. She's been sheltered most of her life but then Dean Riley, who has a bit of baggage, moves to town and she starts slowly breaking out of her shell.

I'm not going to go too much into the story because I would end up spoiling it. I loved the story. I loved the way the bond between Laura and Dean progressed even though at times I felt like throwing something. My only issue was that I felt that the book ended abruptly.

I started the second book in the series so I can say, that this story still ties into the rest of them neatly :)

I'm a bit of a Sam Crescent fan-girl because as an author, she does something spectacular by just stringing together simple words. I don't know how to explain it properly but I can sit and read her novels all day without being bored. I just love her work to bits!

This definitely wasn't my typical YA read but I picked it up on a whim and decided to give it a go. The novel is about a girl who's dealing with the aftermath of her mother dying from cancer, trouble at school, relationship issues and on top of all that, she has to take care of her family.

What drew me in to the novel, was that I could see everything unfolding in front of my eyes. It was as if, I was right there next to Savannah experiencing everything that she went through.

It really was a story that a lot of people can personally relate to and even if you didn't go through any of those things when you were younger, you can still feel the emotions through ever page turn.

Savannah Jade was just a well written story all around and that's the best thing I can say about it.

    Anything For Chocolate - A Billionaire's Deception

I know the blurb for this book states it as 'taboo' but geez, I really couldn't help but be disturbed by some of it. I didn't get the plot at all, at first it sounded like Evan wanted revenge for all the wrongs that Daphne did to him as a teen but when it unfolded... I was just...

I mean, diet chocolate packed with drugs that has a side effect of chronic mastubation? Really?! I mean, come on! Then at the end I was left all confused.

This book just wasn't my thing, and I've read taboo books that some people couldn't even get past the first chapter so for me to read this entire thing and feel weird inside says a lot.

I think I'm starting to like when the books in the series are written like this. I absolutely loved that we got to see past story-lines continuing on side by side with the main duo of Riaz and Andria, both of whom I took some time to get used to.

My problem with these books are that I loved Hawke from the moment he was introduced into the series. I'm very partial towards him so when he's in a book, I tend to want to just skip to his parts alone.

That being said, even though I took some time to warm up to Riaz and Andria, I did like them by the end of the book.
