For 147 years Cade, a vampire, has been protecting our Presidents and our country. Think of Jack Bauer, only as a vampire and more.

I don't read a lot of fiction, but I must say, BLOOD OATH is one of the best fiction books I've ever read. It covers everything an action/thriller/horror reader could want. The story and the characters are filled with layers and twists. Not the usual story twists just to shock and be a twist, I'm talking about smart turns and dialogue that will make you re-read this book over and over.

Author Christopher Farnsworth has been unleashed on the fiction world and I look forward to his rampage. As the saying goes, "Once you start this book, you can't put it down", well it's the truth.

Each chapter is headlined with information from the classified "instruction Manual" for Cade. Those bits alone are amazing. The best part is that Cade is not your run of the mill vampire with all the goth angst and sissy stuff vampire fiction has beat us over the head with for years. This is truly a testosterone filled ride that leaves you scrambling to get to the next chapter.

I want this book to be a movie very badly. It would be huge. They don't need to vary from what Farnsworth has written, he has done all the heavy lifting for the studios.

I cannot recommend BLOOD OATH enough. Go, buy it today and thank me when you finish it.
