Beau, many thanks for your reply, makes me want to start reading it right away. If you don't mind ribauld humor that will have you rolling on the floor laughing I think you would really enjoy reading one of the most riotously funny coming-of-age cult classics ever written titled "Youth in Revolt" by C.D. Payne. While it strains credulity at times I must tell it's like taking a step back in time and makes me smile everytime I think about some of the outrageous situations and teen behavior in this hilarious story taken from the diaries of Nick Twisp. READ ON and enjoy!

Thank you for the recommendation! I can see by your bookshelf you are an excellent reference for westerns and I haven't read ANY westerns -how is that possible? So, I am very much looking forward to it. And, if I hate it...then I know to politely smile next time you recommend a book -ha. I enjoy a good western. I think my favorite is Unforgiven. I am planning on reading Wynonna Earp soon. I'll pick it up next time I am at the comic book store and if he doesn't have it I'll demand he carry it!

P.S. That's not a really old picture of me in my profile. It's my daughter Ansana. Not that I'm bragging, but she can name all members of the Justice League and many more characters. Tonight she told me I should be the Dark Phoenix and my husband should be Solomon Grundy and she should be Dr. Fate. Oh yeah, and her brother should be Braniac. She'll be 3 next month. I probably should have been focusing more on the ABCs!
