I've only read a few of Maron's books, so I 'm not that familiar with the "history" of the main characters. Her rather large and interesting family provides an interesting host of characters. I want to go back and read some of her earlier books while I wait for the next book in this series.

This was a good beach or plane book. You could just guess the ending.

I've read other books by Lescroart, including the 1st book in this series, The Hunt Club. This book was just okay. For me, it just didn't measure up to his previous books.

Rosenfelt writes another winner. His books have just the right balance of a good mystery, courtroom drama with just a touch of sarcastic humor. A very quick and enjoyable read. Fans of Harlan Coben and Evanovich will not be disappointed.

Rosenfelt writes a good mystery and courtroom drama mixed with just a touch of humor. This is his first book in this series. A very enjoyable read.

Historical fiction based on an actual murder. This book is about prejudice against Irish Catholics in the early 1800's. A lot to be learned from this page turner. Very sad, get out the tissues.

This is the first novel by this author and I hope it is not his last. A successful white attorney defends a black prostitute accused of killing the son of a senator. Lots of twists and turns this book is a real page turner. Perfect for a plane or a weekend read.

Rosenfelt writes an interesting series featuring attorney Andy Carpenter. Good court room scenes and added humor. You should read the previous books in the series to get the full benefit of the book.

Wonderful family saga. A good blend of history and fiction. A great read. Could have been a little less wordy.

This book was a complete waste of time. I had nothing else to read while I was waiting for my husband to get out of a meeting.
