Stevenson's books are great I think! BUT... they get to be alot to handle. Of all the authors I read, he keeps the most dangling plots running at the same time. Not only are you thrown into the world, but you are juggled between perspectives and assumed to know a bit about what's going on.Refreshing, but I find I have to take a break from the every once in awhile, and of course find myself wanting to read more after a small breather. :-)
The good news is that the series gets better and better - so hang on in there
i just finished reading reaper's gale - book 7 of the malazan world. I had to read through old posts in encyclopaedia malazica to keep track of what character was doing what.. and it was worth the effort. now if only i can get my hands on 'toll the hounds' before i forget big chunks of the malazan world sitrep..
I just got the TPB of "Toll the Hounds" yesterday .. aka part 8. :D I can't WAIT to start it because it takes place in Darujhistan where book 1 takes place but with a WHOLE lot more going on. :D
Haha. I enjoy reading your fan mail.. or hate mail rather. I agree with you about Twilight. To think that it kicked off Harry Potter from number 1 is just preposterous!
I agree with what you said about Angela's Ashes. I had seen the post you replied to and also couldn't iunderstand how they conveyed that from the story. You couldn't have said it better.

how can you say that twilight is boring. Meyer is an amazing author. When i read the book it felt as if i was there. I couldnt put it down. oh and ide love to see you write 3 500-600 page books who are all on the best sellers list. there is a reason for that cause those books are good. not just because of the advertisment.
