I love reading. I am an English Writing major, so it's par for the course I guess. My favorite thing about reading is how when I read a really good book I am transported to the time and place that the author is describing.

I don't always have time to read for pleasure, but every night I read a picture book and part of a chapter book... more »

This was a really good read, a page turner (although I did read it on Kindle), but it deals with some graphic voilence and intense situations.

Great collection. It was so fun to read several stories with the same theme. I met both Anita Highman and Kathleen Y'barbo when I purchased this book and they are both great women and great writers.

The movie was pretty interesting, so I had to check out the book, unfortunately my library doesn't have the book, just the graphic novel. It was a fun and easy read, but I still want to read the book.

Until I watched "A Scanner Darkly," I had never heard of Philip Dick, but now that I've started reading this book I've seen that many of his short stories have been turned into movies. It's pretty cool to read the original versions because they are all really short, and pretty different from the movies.

This is also a great book if you don't have a lot of time to devote to a novel, short stories are great quick reads.

What can I say; I love the concept that a poor girl in rags can be turned into a beautiful princess, and find her prince.

The pictures in this book are amazing. I've never seen colors so beautiful, rich, and vibrant. I want to crochet almost every design in the book. In fact, I will probably buy this book and display it on my coffee table so that whenever people come over they can flip through and enjoy it also. The only problem, I can't crochet.

Domiknitrix has to be the best knitting book I've ever read. There are some really amazing knit patterns inside. It's one of my favorite knitting books because it's practical and just a bit on the sexy side too. I haven't tried anything from the book yet, but I am dying to try the “love not hate” color work design.

I listened to this on audio book, and it was a great story right until the very end.
