    I think The Shack is definitely worth the read. It is a work of fiction, yet demonstrates the trinity in a way that is understandable. It also helped me to feel that God is personal and concerned about me. I recently went through a time of huge struggle and it encouraged me a lot. There are some difficult spots, but overall is a positive read. Also - my daughter's birthday is April 16 : )

    I don't know what to tell you about The Shack since I never read it. It doesn't sound like something I would read though, but who knows you may like it. Go to a store read a few pages and see if it grabs you.
