Some adminadroid has magnanimously decided to retroactively truncate this profile. Up yours, control freak.

Short Version:

I like the kinds of books you see listed here, and use this site primarily as a convenient way to list and categorize them. All else is secondary.

Baum, you are a great reader and also a great writer - yes, I can agree about choosing our entertainment. Internet 1st, reading is now second and TV last. I too have saved many books to read when there is time. They are all now packed in the barn in boxes awaiting a library in my home.

I thoroughly enjoyed your profile, and will probably read it again to scribble down a couple of your witty snippets. I, too, am long winded, and not only with my profile but also my postings, when I do any. And I very much appreciate getting to know the members more intimately?!? A very good description. I watched for a time as we were neck and neck on the tagging, never bothering to look at your page. My loss. And Hannah may be in the majority of members seeking friendship, but then friend surfing is not one of my things. Despite the tortoise speed I decided to do a little nosing around for the first time in a while and found myself here. My question, do people actually ask you to give them one of your books? Are they nuts! Blasphemy.

    Dear Friend.
As one of the three admins for the Friendship for Universal Peace group, I am trying to get in touch with as many members as I can who have not been very active in the group lately. We basically just want to remind everyone that we’re here and to invite you to peek in and see what’s going on as the group continues to grow and spread our shared wish for peace throughout the world.
If you have been popping in and participating, please ignore/forgive this message. It’s hard to keep track with so many of us. If you haven’t visited recently, come on by when you get the chance. We look forward to seeing you.

As someone who also has a detailed bio on my page, I strongly agree with Richard--your bio is FINE, very fine! You inspired me to make mine as detailed as it is. Hope you are doing well!

What a fabulous shelf of books... I could gladly come live in your library for a few weeks and just read! Sadly, instead, I am working on my PhD.

When people want to become your friend, they dont want to read a novel about your life. They want a short description of what you like.
